Dme tamil book online read. Outlook 2013 has extended the Ribbon interface used in Microsoft Office 2007 to the entire application. In doing so, sometimes the user interface design elements consume a lot of the screen. There are two methods of solving this problem: setting a global screen resolution override, which will shrink the icons and fonts for Outlook (and other programs), and setting font sizes within Outlook itself.
Global Windows Settings
2.
Slide your mouse up the right edge of the screen (or touch the right edge of the screen) to make the Charm bar appear.
3.
Click on the Search charm and type 'Control Panel.' Click the 'Search' button and then click 'Apps,' then 'Control Panel.' Within the Control Panel, click on the 'Adjust Screen Resolution' link under 'Appearance and Personalization.'
Alternately, click the 'Desktop' tile, then right-click a blank part of your desktop screen. Select 'Screen Resolution.' A dialog window appears.
4.
Click the 'Make Text and Other Items Larger or Smaller' link. You can choose the default display size of most Windows user interface elements here as global sets for 'Smaller,' 'Medium' and 'Larger.' You can also specify the font size of specific items within the Windows UI here.
Within Outlook
2.
Click on the Navigation pane, then select 'Options.' You'll get a dialog box with a series of check boxes showing what navigation buttons will be displayed and a 'Font' button.
3.
Click on the 'Font' button to change the font size and style Outlook uses for specific labels.
Tip
Depending on your video driver, you may have a pane appear on the left side of the Display window; this pane has the old Windows XP/Windows Vista Custom DPI settings tools if they're supported by your video driver. These tools allow you to have finer control over the percentage of increase or reduction than do the three default settings for Windows 8.
